Gillian Shields Gillian is a 17 year old grade 12 student at the Didsbury High School. She is a accomplished violinist who now instructs musically talented individuals. She has participated in 4-H rodeo’s and shows as well as being involved with the Sundre Light horse association, Central Alberta Rodeo Association, Junior rodeo’s and has represented the Carstairs Community as their rodeo Queen. She has hopes of one day joining the Calgary Philharmonic Orchestra.

Katarina Sommerfeld  Katarina is a 15 year old grade 10 student currently attending Sundre High School. She enjoys being in the out doors and staying active with a variety of hobbies including quadding, track and field, basketball and cross country .She has been involved with a number of equestrian activities such as Pony Club, Jumping, Sundre Light Horse, Showing Western and English and competing in gymkhana’s. She has plans of one day becoming a Social worker and mentoring young people by becoming a riding instructor as well.
